


(1) Fluid resistance is low; ball valves are one of the valves with the lowest fluid resistance, and even for reduced diameter ball valves, the fluid resistance is still quite low.
(2) Thrust bearings reduce the friction torque on the valve stem, enabling long-term balanced and flexible operation of the valve stem.
(3) The valve seat has excellent sealing performance, with seals made of materials like polytetrafluoroethylene, which are easy to seal. Moreover, the ball valve's sealing ability increases with the addition of medium pressure.
(4) The valve rod seal is reliable. Since the valve rod only rotates and does not move up and down, the packing seal on the valve rod is less prone to damage, and its sealing capacity increases with the increase of the medium's pressure.
(5) Due to the excellent self-lubricating properties of materials like polytetrafluoroethylene, the friction loss with spheres is minimal, contributing to a longer service life for ball valves.
(6) The lower-valve stem and stem head step prevent the stem from being ejected. In the event of a fire causing damage to the stem seal, the step can also form a metal contact with the valve body, ensuring stem sealing.
