Electrical flanged butterfly valves are typically composed of an angular electric actuator (0-90° partial rotation) and the butterfly valve assembly, which are mechanically connected. After installation and adjustment, they form a unit. The electrical flanged butterfly valve features a simple structure, small size, and light weight.Lightweight, consisting of only a few components. When the electric flanged butterfly valve is fully open, the thickness of the butterfly blade is the resistance to the medium flowing through the valve body, thus the pressure drop generated by the valve is minimal, offering excellent flow control characteristics. The electric flanged butterfly valve mainly has two structural forms: three eccentric and single eccentric, with three sealing types available: metallic seal, PTFE seal, and rubber seal. The metallic seal structure is mainly suitable for working conditions above 300 degrees; the PTFE seal structure is suitable for working conditions up to 180 degrees; and the PTFE seal structure is suitable for working conditions up to 120 degrees. The electric actuator for the electric flanged butterfly valve can directly receive control signals of 4-20mADC or 1-5VDC from computers or industrial instruments, adjusting the motor's step size (PID control) based on the feedback signal of the valve position and the set value to achieve accurate positioning of the valve or other devices, while also outputting a 4-20mADC position feedback signal. Currently, the electric flanged butterfly valve is widely used in the fields of oil, chemical industry, metallurgy, light industry, papermaking, power stations, refrigeration, and more.
