Pneumatic Hard Seated Butterfly Valve - Product Overview
The D643H\D673H pneumatic hard-seated butterfly valve structure consists of an imported pneumatic piston actuator and a triple-leaf hard-seated butterfly valve, commonly known as the pneumatic triple eccentric metal-seated butterfly valve. The valve seat features a multi-layered structure compatible with hard sealing, high precision machining, and good craftsmanship. The pneumatic hard-seated butterfly valve is paired with an electric valve positioner and can be controlled by inputting a 4-20mADC signal and a 0.4-0.7MPa air source, allowing for adjustments of parameters such as pressure, flow rate, temperature, and liquid level. Equipped with a stroke limit switch, solenoid valve, pressure reducing valve, and a 0.4-0.7MPa air source, it enables switch operations and sends out two sets of passive contact signals to indicate the valve's state. The pneumatic hard-seated butterfly valve is composed of main components such as the body, butterfly plate, multi-layered valve seat, valve stem, and transmission mechanism, characterized by its simple structure, small size, and light weight. Therefore, the pneumatic hard-seated butterfly valve and the pneumatic triple eccentric metal-seated butterfly valve are widely applied to pipelines carrying corrosive media such as metallurgy, power, oil, chemicals, air, coal gas, combustible gases, and water supply and drainage.

(1) The pneumatic hard-seated butterfly valve utilizes a three-eccentric sealing structure, with the valve seat and butterfly plate experiencing minimal wear. It boasts a sealing function that tightens more effectively with repeated use.
(2) The sealing rings are made of stainless steel, offering the dual benefits of metallic hard sealing and elastic sealing. They maintain excellent sealing performance in both low and high temperatures, are corrosion-resistant, and have a long service life.
(3) The butterfly plate sealing surface is made of surfacing cobalt-based hard alloy, which offers excellent wear resistance and a long service life.
(4) Large-scale butterfly blades feature a latticed structure, offering high strength, a large flow area, and low flow resistance.
(5) The pneumatic hard-seated butterfly valve features bidirectional sealing capability. It is not restricted by the medium flow direction during installation and is unaffected by the spatial position, allowing for installation in any direction.
(6) Pneumatic devices can be installed at multiple positions (rotating 90° or 180°) for user convenience.

Air Operated Hard Seal Butterfly Valve - Eccentric Principle

When the valve opens, the butterfly plate and valve seat instantaneously touch at the closed position. The butterfly plate's eccentricity 1 and eccentricity 2 quickly detach from the valve seat, reducing wear on the sealing pair, resulting in a smaller friction torque and flexible operation. The eccentric conical surface 3 allows the butterfly plate to pass through the valve seat bore during opening or closing, achieving contact sealing. Additionally, the rotation radius of the conical butterfly plate is greater than the rotation radius at the contact position of the sealing pair, so the butterfly plate tightens more as the valve closes, enabling self-locking and preventing over-positioning of the butterfly plate.
