After relentless efforts by the Jinfangyuan mastermind team, China's first automatic mobile assembly line for bending machines officially commenced operation at Jinfangyuan Company on September 12, 2019, marking a significant breakthrough in the manufacturing methods of the sheet metal machine tool industry in China!
The line transformation was inspired by the parent company of Jiangsu Jinfangyuan, the German TRUMPF Group, while the design and implementation of the automated line were entirely completed by our local team.
This assembly line achieves a true "machine movement, people fixed" (mobile people stationary) workflow, similar to the production method of cars.
Traditional machine assembly involves fixing the machine at a work station, with workers of various trades carrying assembly tools and parts from one station to another to complete the assembly of various components such as mechanical structures, drive devices, and control systems. This method is suitable for small-scale production modes.
Jin Fangyuan's automatic mobile equipment production line combines the efficiency of mass production with the advantages of machine tool personalized customization and flexible production. The workshop is equipped with straight guide tracks, on which mobile trolleys are installed. The machine tools are mounted on these trolleys and move slowly along the tracks. Jin Fangyuan breaks down the bending machine assembly into several workstations, where workers complete assembly operations according to assembly manuals. Each machine tool stays at a workstation for 2 to 3 hours to complete the assembly before moving on to the next station. The crane only needs to perform lifting operations at the fixed starting position of the production line.
After the改造, the bending machine's assembly production efficiency is expected to increase by at least 25%, with improved delivery timeliness and product quality. This is primarily due to the implementation of designated positions for assembly workers, with refined division of labor and enhanced professionalism. The occurrence of errors such as forgetting or omitting tools and parts will also significantly decrease. Post-assembly line production, the workshop's layout and working environment have been notably optimized, eliminating the chaos of logistics carts during peak production and avoiding the risk of lifting equipment at different locations in the workshop.
On the new production line, bottlenecks are readily apparent, allowing management and technicians to promptly identify and resolve issues, and to provide timely training and guidance to employees who are not keeping pace.
Jiangsu Jinfangyuan will continue to optimize the production line, enabling users to obtain higher-quality bending machine products in a shorter amount of time.
