Acrylic Polyurethane Paint

Product Description and Usage:

It is a two-component, heavy-duty anti-corrosion coating, prepared through the addition of special weather-resistant acrylic resins, additives, pigments, fillers, and auxiliaries. Suitable for anti-corrosion coating on steel structures, gas pipelines, chemical facilities, oil tanks, bridges, docks, gas holders, motors, electrical appliances, aluminum alloys, and more. Also suitable for anti-corrosion coating on products such as wood, plastic, rubber, and cement.

II. Product Performance:

Excellent corrosion resistance. The coating has good adhesion, toughness, wear resistance, elasticity, and is resistant to acid, alkali, salt, oil, petroleum products, benzene solvents, water, boiling water, seawater, and chemical atmospheres.

2. Excellent weather resistance. The coating boasts good weather resistance, light and color retention, high luster, and decorative properties, as well as excellent temperature resistance (up to 160°C).

3. Easy to install. Dries quickly, can cure normally at 0°C, forms a thick film in one application, requires fewer coats, and can be applied using standard methods.

Salt Resistance: 5% NaCl, film will not bubble or peel off after 30 days

Acidity Resistance: 10% H2SO4, film does not bubble or peel off after 30 days

Alkaline Resistance: 10% NaOH, film remains free from bubbling and peeling after 30 days

IV. Construction Method:

1. Drum Stirring: After opening the drum, stir the paint until no sediment remains at the bottom, then mix it according to a paint:curing agent ratio of 7:1 (by weight) and ensure thorough mixing. After a 15-20 minute curing period, it's ready for application. If the paint is too thick, add a diluent as needed, up to 5-15%. Water, alcohol, banana water, and gasoline are strictly prohibited as diluents. After use, immediately seal the drum tightly to prevent moisture and deterioration.

Surface Treatment Requirements: Steel structure, base material treatment required, or manual rust removal to achieve St3 level or above; chemical rust removal is also available, oil-free, rust-free, debris-free, and dry and clean.

3. Theoretical Consumption: Without considering the impact of actual painting environment, method, technique, surface condition, structure, shape, and surface area size during construction, the general consumption is 0.20 kg/㎡.

4. Optimal construction temperature is 0-35°C, with relative humidity ≤85%. No construction is permitted under conditions of rain, fog, snow, or severe dust.

5. After one coat of paint, wait over 24 hours before applying the next coat. Construction under normal temperature conditions requires the site to be ready for use seven days after the first application.

6. Tool Cleaning: Clean with paint thinner.

7. Construction sites must strictly prohibit open flames, and must have adequate ventilation and reliable safety precautions in place to prevent poisoning and fire accidents.

8. Storage and Transportation: Flammable goods. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from fire sources. Avoid collision, direct sunlight, rain, and proximity to open flames during transportation and storage.

6.3 Valid for one year; it can still be used after the expiration date, provided it passes a re-inspection.

V. Important Notes:

1. Stir the paint thoroughly before use and ensure it is sealed after opening for storage.

2. After degreasing and rust removal, the metal surface should be promptly coated with a complete layer to prevent re-rusting.

3. After mixing the paint in proportion, it should be allowed to settle for 20 minutes before application.

4. Construction should not be carried out outdoors during rainy, foggy weather, or when humidity exceeds 80%.

5. The coating takes seven days to cure at room temperature after application, and it is not advisable to advance the material.
