Epoxy Titanium White Paint

Product Description and Usage:

Our epoxy titanium white paint is a two-component epoxy coating, available in white or milky white shades. After full curing, it boasts excellent adhesion and water resistance, with clean film surfaces meeting drinking water hygiene standards. Even after being rinsed more than five times, it does not affect the physical and chemical properties of water, and toxicological tests yield negative results. It is suitable for packaging coatings on the inner walls of drinking water tanks, water towers, beer kegs, large food containers, and other applications across industries such as petrochemicals, oil, offshore platforms, ships, water conservancy, municipal, and metallurgical sectors. It can also be used on the inner walls of water supply pipelines, buildings, and any structures requiring leakproof, waterproof, and corrosion-resistant facilities. Additionally, it is ideal for metal containers for storing fuel oil, gasoline, and concrete containers.

II. Product Features:

After full curing of the coating, it is non-toxic to drinking water, demonstrating excellent resistance to water, oil, chemical media, and rust.

The coating has an extremely strong bond with materials like metal, ceramic, concrete, etc., featuring high hardness. The coating is also highly flexible, impact-resistant, and wear-resistant.

3. High solid content coating, allows for thick application in one coat. Two-component paint cures at -10 degrees, with simple on-site application.

IV. Construction Guidance:

Surface Treatment: Metal surfaces should be blast cleaned and rust-free, with the rust removal quality reaching the Sa2.5 grade as specified in GB/T8923. Concrete surfaces should be free of dust, oil, moisture, and alkalinity. The treated surfaces should be primed within 24 hours.

2. Paint mixing: Before use, thoroughly mix the A component. Add the B component next, mixing according to the weight ratio. The mixing ratio of our epoxy potable water paint to hardener is: Paint to Hardener = 23:2. Stir well and let it mature for 10-20 minutes before applying. The mixed paint should be used up within 5 hours.

3. Painting Process: The paint can be applied using methods such as ordinary spraying, high-pressure airless spraying, and brushing. The next coat should be applied after the previous one has dried. If the paint film is fully cured, it should be abraded before applying the next coat. When the paint viscosity increases, our factory's thinner can be used for dilution; the amount should not exceed 5% of the paint quantity.

4. Coating Structure, Standard Corrosion Protection: Apply four coats of paint, theoretical dosage: primer 220g/sq. m., topcoat 250g/sq. m., total usage per sq. m. 0.8kg. Dry film thickness greater than 200um. Enhanced Corrosion Protection: Apply five coats of paint, total usage per sq. m. 1.0kg. Dry film thickness greater than 250um.

V. Cautionary Notes:

This product is flammable; it should be stored in a dry, well-ventilated, and shaded area, strictly avoiding exposure to rain and fire sources. Transportation must comply with safety regulations for flammable goods.

2. To ensure coating quality, outdoor application of protective coatings should be halted during windy, sandy, rainy, snowy, or foggy weather. Construction is not advisable when the environmental temperature is below -10 degrees Celsius or above 40 degrees Celsius, or when the relative humidity exceeds 80%.

3. Equipment should be delivered for use after the anti-corrosion coating has fully cured (usually 5-7 days in summer, 7-10 days in winter), and the curing coating should be protected from rain.

4. This product has a shelf life of one year. If sediment is found in the drum during storage, it can be stirred and used. For products beyond the shelf life, check the specifications in the table for inspection; products meeting the criteria can continue to be used.
