Simple Operation Instructions for Electric Heat Welding Tape One, Product Components: 1. Electric Heat Welding Tape 2. PE Glue Stick (Purchasable for Use) Construction Tools and Accessories: Electric heat melting welder, stainless steel fastener bands, U-shaped clamp, velvet fastener bands, rubber mallet, insulating gloves, wire, surface thermometer. III. Operating Procedure: 1. The two pipes to be installed will be elevated from the ground and aligned horizontally. 2. Clean off dirt, moisture, and other debris from the surface of the tube. 3. Wrap the heat shrinkable tape around the pipe's joint with velvet straps, securing it tightly. Place the end with the wire terminals underneath the overlap. Ensure the pipe joint is centered on the heat shrinkable tape. 4. Wrap the stainless steel clamp band around the heat-fused tape and secure it with a U-shaped clamp. Insert the PE glue rod into the seam where the heat-fused tape overlaps, tighten the stainless steel clamp band, ensuring the heat-fused tape adheres tightly to the pipe wall. 5. Connect the electric heat fusion welder's power supply to the electric heat fusion tape, set the heating time, and then start the electric heat fusion welder. Carefully adjust the heating current; there is a significant difference in current settings between the 380V and 220V electric heat fusion welders (refer to the attached table for heating time and current). During the heating process, ensure a tight fit between the electric heat fusion tape and the surface of the pipe by inserting a flat-blade knife or similar tool.
6. Once the electric heat fusion process is complete (at this point, the temperature at the temperature measurement point on the electric heat fusion tape will be around 92°C; if the temperature is too low, extend the heating time), turn off the power, and then retighten the stainless steel clamp band appropriately. 7. After the electric heat shrink tape has cooled completely (cooling time see attached table), remove the stainless steel clasp, and the installation is complete. Section 4: Safety Matters When working, wear insulating gloves. Do not weld at joints when they are damp to prevent electric shock. 2. Avoid burns to the body from high-temperature joints after electric heat melting.
