The Heat Shrink Wrapping Tape Series is a type of heat shrinkable anti-corrosion tape designed and manufactured for buried and overhead steel pipelines and thermal insulation protective surfaces. It is primarily used for anti-corrosion wrapping and covering treatments at the bending sections of steel pipes, as well as for repairing damaged pipeline anti-corrosion coatings. It can also be applied for anti-corrosion wrapping and covering treatments on entire steel pipes and for sealing and anti-corrosion treatments at pipe ends. It is composed of a radiation cross-linked polyolefin base material and a special sealing hot-melt adhesive, which can form a good bond with polyethylene base material, steel pipe surfaces, and solid epoxy coatings. During construction, first preheat the pipeline, wrap it with machinery or by hand around the treated pipeline, ensuring the overlap width is not less than 25mm. Evenly heat the strip material, causing it to uniformly contract in the radial direction while the hot melt adhesive melts. Fill and cover the pipeline, forming a strong, continuous external anti-corrosion layer, which can withstand soil stress, static water pressure, cathodic disbondment, chemical corrosion, and mold侵蚀. This provides long-term and effective protection for steel pipelines. Heat Shrink Tapes Application Guide Operating Temperature: 70℃ Applicable External Corrosion Coatings: PE, FBE, PP Pipe preheating temperature: 75℃ Recommended Rust Removal Grade: Sa2.5, St3.0 Specs of heat shrinkable wrapping tape The product is applicable to all steel pipes with diameters ranging from DN25 to DN2000. The base material thickness ranges from 1.0 to 2.0mm, and the adhesive layer thickness is from 0.8 to 2.0mm.
