Polypropylene Corrosion-Resistant Tape

Instructions for Use:

Surface Treatment of Steel Pipe: Remove rust, slag, burrs, oil, and dirt, and keep clean and dry.

(2) Priming: Use the matching primer, keep away from fire sources when applying, mix thoroughly, and apply evenly using a clean brush, roller, or other mechanical methods. Primer consumption: Manual application 12㎡/L, mechanical application 20㎡/L.

(3) Once the primer is dry to the touch (usually 5-10 minutes after application), it is ready for wrapping.

(4) Excavation Backfill: The trench can be backfilled upon passing the quality inspection and acceptance.

(5) This tape uses asphalt-modified adhesive, so it must be heated and wrapped with a torch during winter or when the temperature is low to meet the technical specifications.

Transportation and Storage:

Tape is designed to protect against sun exposure, rain, and prevent damage and deformation during transportation.

(2) In case of extreme freezing below 5°C during transportation or storage, the material must be stored at around 20°C for 48 hours before construction can begin.

(3) Store in a cool, dry environment with temperatures between 10-30°C, and ensure the temperature does not exceed 75°C. The storage period is 12 months, and keep away from heat sources and open flames.
