Swivel Flange

Flange, also known as a flange boss or rim. A flange is a component that connects shafts together, used for pipe end connections; there are also flanges used at equipment inlets and outlets for connecting two devices, such as reducer flanges. Flange connection or flange joint refers to a removable connection made up of a flange, a gasket, and bolts as a combination sealing structure. Pipe flanges refer to flanges used in piping systems within equipment, or specifically, the inlets and outlets of equipment. Flanges have holes, and bolts secure the two flanges together. Gaskets are used to seal between flanges. Flanges come in threaded (screwed) connections, welded flanges, and clamped flanges. Flanges are used in pairs; low-pressure piping can use threaded flanges, while flanges for pressures over four kilograms are typically焊接 flanges. Two flange discs are joined with a sealing pad, then secured with bolts. Flange thickness and螺栓 types vary with pressure ratings. Equipment like pumps and valves, when connected to pipes, have corresponding flange shapes, also known as flange connections. Any connection component that uses bolts to join two flat surfaces around the circumference and seal them is generally called a "flange," such as ventilation pipe connections, which can be referred to as "flange-like components." However, such connections are only part of a device, like a flange and pump connection, so it's not appropriate to call the pump a "flange-like component." Smaller items like valves can be called "flange-like components."
