Overview of External Tube Reactor

The heating methods for the external tube reactor include electric heating, oil heating, gas heating, water heating (or cooling), and open flame heating, etc.

The types of agitation generally include paddle, anchor, frame, ribbon, and scraper types.

Sleeve types include: jacketed and semi-tubular, with all jacketed oil-heated models featuring a flow guide.

Axial seal options include: ordinary water-cooled packing, composite PTFE packing, and mechanical seal.

Material forms include ball valves and gate valves.

The external disk tube reactor relies on the thorough mixing of the reaction substances. For processes such as heating, cooling, liquid extraction, and gas absorption, a stirring device is required to achieve good results.
