4. The final stainless steel rod chain deadweight tensioning device should be securely installed at a location close to where staff typically operate. The protective device must prevent staff from entering the indoor space beneath the deadweight. If such an installation is not available, support equipment should be placed beneath the deadweight, ensuring a static distance of not less than 2.5 meters from the ground or any other working surface.
