Corrosion Resistance: The steel cluster composite pipe can resist almost all chemical media, including the corrosion from concentrated nitric acid and aqua regia, except for molten lithium, potassium, sodium, chlorotrifluoro, oxygen trifluoride at high temperatures, and liquid fluorine at high flow rates. It can operate continuously at temperatures between 230℃-250℃. Steel cluster or other biased composite pipes have good corrosion resistance to halogens, halogenated hydrocarbons, strong oxidizers, boiling acids, alkalis, and various organic solvents. However, they are not resistant to corrosive effects of fuming sulfuric acid, concentrated hot sulfuric acid and nitric acid, ketones, esters, amines above 90℃, and high-temperature sulfonating agents.
