Press fit outer race needle roller clutches, commonly known as one-way bearings or one-way needle roller bearings, are thin-walled outer races, retainers, spring plates, and needle rollers made from alloy sheet metal, forming bearings for unidirectional movement. They can be used as converters, check valves, and overrunning clutches and are widely applied in transmission components that require one-way action, such as fitness equipment, currency counters, washing machines, fishing gear, toy cars, and more.

Pressed outer ring needle roller clutch (one-way bearing) can be used as a converter, check valve, and overrunning clutch. HF (needle roller clutch): consists of a pressed outer ring and a plastic retainer; the retainer can have a plastic spring leaf or be fitted with stainless steel spring leaf to guide the needle roller. The inclined groove on the outer ring and the needle serve as a locking mechanism. HFL (clutch and bearing assembly): the bearing is mounted on both sides of the needle roller clutch and bears radial loads; the needle and plastic retainer assembly serves as the supporting bearing.
