Product Description:

The PP horizontal spray tower employs a gas-liquid reverse absorption method for treatment, where the liquid is sprayed downward from the top of the tower in a misty form (or small droplets). The waste gas is then directed through the tower (in reverse flow) to achieve gas-liquid contact. This process cools the waste gas, conditions the gas, and removes particles. After passing through a demisting section, it is released into the atmosphere.

One,Principle of PP Horizontal Spray Tower:

The system's fan unit will draw in exhaust gas and pass it through the packed section (gas)./Contact reaction medium for liquid), allowing the exhaust gas to be adequately contacted with the flowing (washing liquid) over the filling material surface to absorb acidic or alkaline contaminants present in the exhaust gas.

After washing, the waste liquid is collected into the water collection sump and then discharged into the wastewater treatment system. Gases inside the tower are sent in by a fan, flowing from bottom to top. The absorbent liquid is pumped into the top of the tower by an acid-resistant pump and evenly sprayed downward through a distribution device, forming countercurrent absorption. After neutralization, the gas passes through the tower's demisting section and is then discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney. Different acidic gases are absorbed using different absorbent liquids. Sodium hydroxide (Solution of NaOH is used as the absorption and neutralizing liquid. When the solution concentration is between 2-6%, the efficiency of purifying (HCL) acid mist (initial concentration < 400 mg/m³) can reach over 98%; the efficiency of purifying (H2SO4) acid mist (initial concentration < 300 mg/m³) can reach over 97%; and the efficiency of purifying nitric acid (HNO3) mist (initial concentration < 100 mg/m³) can reach over 90%.

Section 2:PP Horizontal Spray Tower System Composition:

The conventional spray tower structure is summarized as: one mist removal layer, two spray layers, three filling layers, four viewing windows, and five flexible ball valves.

Generally separated by grating panels, with fillers placed on top, the height of the filler layer can reach500mm. To enhance demisting efficiency, our company's spray tower can be equipped with a plate-type demister.

2. Sprinkler Layer

The sprinkler layer is composed of sprinkler pipes and nozzles, with different densities of pipes and nozzles set according to the diameter of the sprinkler tower. The use of superior nozzles ensures even misting and high flow rate, making it less prone to clogging.

3. Filling Layer

The packing layer is placed above the demisting layer and spray layer, where packing materials such as multi-sided hollow spheres and Raschig rings are installed. The packing layer within the spray tower serves as a mass transfer device for the gas-liquid two-phase contact. At the bottom of the packing tower, there is a support plate for the packing, which is placed in a random manner on the plate. A packing pressure plate is installed above the packing to prevent it from being blown away by ascending air currents. The spray liquid in the spray tower is sprayed onto the packing from the top through a liquid distributor and flows down along the surface of the packing.

4. Window:

Also known as the inspection port, typically the molded window is:φ500mm and φ400mm sizes available. The viewport primarily serves for observing the operation of the spray tower and for replacing packing and inspecting nozzles.

5. Swing Check Valve

Primarily controls the circulation water switch.

In addition, the recirculating water tank is also an important component of the spray tower. The tank can be flexibly arranged, either connected or not connected to the tower body.

Section 3:Technical Features of PP Horizontal Spray Tower:

Highly effective purification rate, capable of efficiently removing main pollutants such as sulfuric acid mist, chromic acid mist, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia gases, and challenging waste gases like hydrogen chloride, with a decontamination efficiency up toOver 95%. The PP spray tower is highly customizable, allowing for various shapes based on different space designs. Additionally, the PP treatment tower can be designed with different internal structures according to air volume, pressure, absorption efficiency, and waste gas types to ensure effective treatment and economic investment. With a long service life of up to 15 years due to the antioxidant properties of the PP material and the addition of UV absorbers during processing, the equipment is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. No need for dedicated maintenance personnel; regular checks at designated intervals suffice to reduce labor costs. The manufacturer also schedules personnel to regularly record the on-site operational conditions. Low operating costs, with no need for frequent replacements of wear parts. PP material has higher temperature resistance than traditional PP, PVC, PE, etc., with liquid temperature resistance exceeding 100°C. It is a cost-effective material for specific waste gases and absorption media. The PP absorption tower is resistant to corrosion from all conventional absorption liquids, such as sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, sodium thiosulfate, sodium sulfide, sulfuric acid, ammonia water, sodium hypochlorite, organic solvents, and more.
