Regarding the issue of preventing rust on stainless steel bridge beams, it has been mentioned in many articles, but there are still quite a few such problems in actual production and daily life. How to prevent rust in the production of stainless steel bridge beams really causes headaches for customers.

The alloy element content of stainless steel bridge material is crucial for its surface corrosion resistance. Typically, a steel with a 10.5% chromium content is not prone to rust. The higher the chromium-nickel content, the better the corrosion resistance, such as in 304 stainless steel, where the nickel content should be between 8-10% and the chromium content between 18-20%. This ensures that it is generally rust-free under normal circumstances. Therefore, to eliminate the issue of rust on bridge structures, it is necessary to opt for high-quality or as high-quality as possible stainless steel bridge material.

2. The stainless steel bridge trays are produced using superior-grade steel materials. The smelting process during the stainless steel production also has a certain impact on the corrosion resistance. Large stainless steel mills with advanced smelting technology, state-of-the-art equipment, and refined processes can ensure control over alloy elements, impurity removal, and steel billet cooling temperatures. Consequently, the product quality is relatively stable and reliable, with good inherent quality and resistance to rust. In contrast, smaller steel mills with outdated equipment and processes often fail to remove impurities during smelting, leading to products that are prone to rust.

External environment: Stainless steel bridge supports are less prone to rust in dry, well-ventilated conditions. However, in areas with high humidity, continuous rainy weather, or environments with high acidity or alkalinity in the air, stainless steel bridge supports are more susceptible to rust. Even 304 stainless steel can develop rust spots if the surrounding environment is poor.
