Visitors to the inflatable membrane indoor gymnasium are well aware that it maintains a comfortable, constant temperature year-round. But how is this achieved? What necessary measures are taken?

The thermal insulation method for the air film sports center's foundation is to use an outer and inner layer of air film. This involves attaching an inner membrane to the outer membrane that bears the load, creating a certain air gap between the inner and outer films to achieve the thermal insulation effect. To further enhance the thermal insulation of the sports center, Changzhou Weizhong Company will also fill the air gap between the inner and outer films with fire-retardant thermal insulation materials. Common thermal insulation materials include:

Glass fiber cotton with double-sided aluminum foil, this material is commonly used in cold, severely cold, and regions with cold winters and hot summers.

2. XPE (Chemically Cross-Linked Polyethylene Foam) double-sided aluminum foil composite, this material is commonly used in summer hot and winter warm regions, as well as in humid environments.

3. Rubber-insulated cotton double-sided aluminum foil is commonly used in regions with hot summers and warm winters, as well as in humid environments. However, it's important to note that some manufacturers' versions of this product may have an odor, and it is typically used outdoors.

4. Glass fiber aerogel mat, a material commonly used in extremely cold, cold, and hot-cold regions in winter, has proven to be effective. It is often utilized in projects such as ice and snow museums and cold storage facilities.

5. Non-woven aerogel mat, a material with excellent thermal insulation properties and good light transmittance, can maintain optimal natural lighting within the building while providing thermal insulation, thereby saving some energy.

As times progress and people's living standards rise, there is an increasing demand for buildings. Green, environmentally friendly, and intelligent air-supported gymnasiums are gaining wider public recognition. These facilities offer spacious interiors without beams or columns, aligning with the country's sustainable development strategy.
