The Dust Concentration Meter is a specialized online dust detection instrument developed by Wuhan Huade Lin Technology Co., Ltd. for various types of dust at different locations, providing real-time monitoring of dust concentrations at each detection point.
Overview of Dust Concentration Meters
The WKD-6 series dust concentration meter measuring device offers the world's current AC coupling technology, a modern and stable monitoring technique, particularly suitable for continuous emissions recording and data accumulation. The working principle of this monitoring system is to confirm the online dust emission amount or concentration by utilizing the charge induction generated by dust particles passing through the probe. Under relatively stable combustion conditions (i.e., at the same emission point where flow rate, temperature, pressure, humidity, and dust particle properties do not vary significantly, less than ±90% change), the system can be used for online concentration monitoring after direct calibration (unit: mg/m³).
Dust Concentration Meter Features
The WKD-6 series dust concentration meters utilize practical charge sensing technology, offering high sensitivity and linearity in dust detection. The probe is unaffected by dust contamination, ensuring no loss in measurement sensitivity, and requires no maintenance or cleaning. Featuring a standard two-wire 4-20mA current output, it boasts strong anti-interference capabilities, making it easy for long-distance signal transmission. No special requirements for signal transmission wires are needed, and the output current is linearly related to dust concentration, facilitating PLC data processing.
The installation and operation are identical to the secondary pressure transmitter, allowing field engineering technicians to use it correctly without any special training. It is easy to install and operates reliably.
The integrated transmitter within the junction box provides a 4-20mA current output, electrically isolated from the dust detection probe, ensuring safe signal transmission.
Application:
TRT Power Generation, Coal Gasification Plant.
Powder Material Recycling
Total Process Dust Transmission Volume Monitoring
Monitoring of dust emission concentrations from various coal-fired boilers
Principle of Dust Concentration Meter
The WKD-6 dust concentration meter detects the electrostatic charge induced by dust particles passing through a fixed probe. Dust particles generate an electrostatic charge upon contacting the probe, which is then amplified and transmitted to the monitoring control system. The magnitude of the electrostatic charge is proportional to the flow of dust particles. The high-tech electronic circuit of this system converts this charge into control signals for output, initiating an alarm for excessive dust emissions while also continuously recording the total quantity or concentration of dust particles.
