I. Overview

The HDL-FC-20G-EX Explosion-Proof Laser Dust Continuous Monitor (hereinafter referred to as the Explosion-Proof Dust Monitor) is primarily used for the concentration detection and over-limit alarm of flammable and explosive dust particles (TSP) in industrial and mining enterprises. This instrument draws in air containing dust particles from large public indoor spaces, industrial and mining enterprises, factory workshops, or production workshops, and analyzes it through a high-precision laser dust detection sensor. The concentration value of dust in the space is displayed on the instrument's screen. The HDL-FC-20G-EX Explosion-Proof Laser Dust Continuous Monitor utilizes advanced light scattering principles with a semiconductor laser as the measurement light source for high-sensitivity non-contact measurement of dust in the air. It is managed and controlled throughout the testing process by a single-chip microprocessor and features a high-resolution, high-brightness LCD display. Main Technical Specifications:

5. Features dust concentration overload alarm settings, allowing for self-adjustable high-concentration alarm thresholds. Equipped with an internal buzzer, it can also be connected to external sound and light alarms. Additionally, it offers switch quantity output that can be linked to external exhaust fans. When dust concentration exceeds the high threshold, the exhaust fan will automatically activate to reduce the dust concentration in the space.

6. Equipped with an RS485 communication interface and 4-20mA current output, it can connect to a computer for data transmission, remote monitoring, and printing of test results.

The instrument is equipped with a programmable clock chip, providing accurate date and time information for measurement.

III. Features

This instrument's outer casing is cast according to the national safety explosion-proof standard, with a thickness of 10mm and an explosion-proof grade of IP65. It is mainly used in flammable and explosive environments, featuring easy installation, fast testing speed, high sensitivity, excellent stability, and simple operation. It is suitable for large factories and workshop measurements. It ensures safe production with real-time monitoring and alarm functions. It includes a dust concentration over-limit alarm setting, allowing for the self-setting of high-concentration alarm thresholds. It is equipped with an internal buzzer and can be connected to external sound and light alarms. Additionally, the switchable output can be connected to external exhaust fans, automatically activating them when dust concentration exceeds high levels to reduce dust in the space.

IV. Applicable Occasions

The 3HDL-FC-20G-EX Explosion-proof Dust Detector is designed for rapid measurement of respirable particulate matter (TSP) concentration in public areas, industrial and mining production sites, and environmental protection monitoring of respirable dust concentration. It can also be used for evaluating the purification efficiency of air purifiers. Real-time dust concentration detection in production workshops, factory interiors, and other fields, with alarm functionality.

b. Coefficient settings

Press "MENU," and the cursor will blink after "TSP_K:". Press "△/+”or "▽/-" to zoom in or out.

Default system number: 0100

c. 485 Communication Address Setup

Press "MENU" when the cursor blinks after the address. Use "△/+” or “▽/-” to set the 485 communication address of the device.

d. Alarm Point Setup

Hold the "MENU" button for five seconds, then release it. A settings screen will appear.

Alarm:         0000

Press "MENU" now to modify the unit digit, then use "△/+” or "▽/-" to adjust.

Press "MENU" twice to modify the tens digit, then use "△/+ or ▽/-" to adjust.

This applies accordingly.

3. Exit Edit Menu

Hold "MENU" for five seconds, then release to return to the measurement screen.
