Performance & Applications
1. Easily soluble in water, the solution is milky white, not resistant to strong acids, bases, and reducers. It penetrates quickly and evenly, exhibiting good wetting, penetration, emulsifying, and foaming properties. The penetration effect is better below 40°C, and it is more prone to hydrolysis when exposed to alkalis at high temperatures. It is advisable to treat the fabric with a penetrant at temperatures below 40°C before increasing the temperature.
2. This product is a high-efficiency penetrant, suitable for treating cotton, linen, viscose, and their blends. After processing, the fabric can be directly bleached or dyed without the need for scouring, improving dye defects caused by dead cotton, and resulting in a softer, fuller hand feel on the printed and dyed fabric. During the pre-scouring process, the paste should be completely removed to ensure optimal penetration.
3. If too much foam is observed when using Penetrant T, a small amount of defoamer can be added, such as GP or octanol, tributyl phosphate, and similar defoamers.
4. Used for raw cotton dyeing; used for wettable powder of pesticides.
Packaging and Storage
200Kg and 50Kg plastic drums packaging. Store and transport as general chemicals. Keep in a dry, well-ventilated area. Shelf life: 2 years.
