Performance and Applications
1. MOA-3, MOA-4, and MOA-5 are easily soluble in oils and polar solvents, showing a diffused state in water, with excellent emulsifying properties. They act as w/o emulsifiers, used for emulsifying mineral oils and fatty solvents, as well as viscosifying agents for polyvinyl chloride solvents. Widely employed in fiber oil agents, MOA-3 is a key raw material for producing AES, while MOA-4 can serve as emulsifiers and dry cleaning agents for silicones and hydrocarbons.
2. MOA-7 and MOA-9 are easily soluble in water, featuring excellent emulsifying, cleaning, and wetting properties. They are used in the woolen textile industry as wool cleaning and degreasing agents, as well as refining and cleaning agents for fabrics. They can also be a significant component of liquid detergents. In the cosmetics industry, they serve as emulsifiers. They have good emulsifying, dispersing, and wetting properties for both mineral oils and animal and vegetable fats. Additionally, they can be used as emulsifiers for glass fiber spinning oils.
3. MOA-15, MOA-20, and MOA-23 are used as wool degreaser, fabric cleaner, liquid detergent, hydrocarbon solvent, general industrial emulsifier, essential oil solubilizer, antistatic agent wetting agent, and brightener in electroplating industries. MOA-20 serves as a leveling agent in the dyeing industry, demonstrating significant effects and excellent scouring properties. Adding this additive to the dyeing process not only achieves the purpose of slow and even dyeing but also enhances the fastness of the dye, resulting in vibrant and aesthetically pleasing colors.
