Performance & Applications
1. Easily soluble in water, forming a milky white solution. It is not resistant to strong acids, bases, and reducers. It penetrates quickly and evenly, exhibiting good wetting, penetration, emulsifying, and foaming properties. The penetration effect is better below 40°C, and it is more prone to hydrolysis when exposed to alkalis at high temperatures. It is advisable to treat the fabric with a penetrant at temperatures below 40°C before increasing the temperature.
2. This product is a high-efficiency penetrant, designed for treating cotton, linen, viscose, and their blended fabrics. The treated fabrics can be directly bleached or dyed without scouring, improving dye defects caused by dead cotton, resulting in a softer and fuller hand feel after dyeing and printing. During the grey fabric bleaching process, the sizing should be completely removed first to ensure optimal penetration.
3. If too much foam is observed while using Penetrating Agent T, a small amount of defoamer can be added, such as GP or octanol, tributyl phosphate, etc. for defoaming.
4. For cotton dyeing; used in wettable powder of pesticides.
Packaging and Storage
200Kg plastic drums, 50Kg plastic drums packaging. Store and transport as general chemicals. Keep in a dry, well-ventilated area. Shelf life: 2 years.
