Chemical Cleaning Solutions
Preparation Before Chemical Cleaning
Preconditions for Chemical Cleaning
1.1 Water pressure testing and insulation work for process pipelines and equipment have been completed.
1.2 All instrumentation components and equipment requiring isolation have been isolated, and temporary piping for cleaning has been installed.
Note: After the chemical cleaning has passed the quality inspection, it must be sealed with nitrogen. Pipeline and equipment sealed with nitrogen are strictly prohibited from undergoing hydrostatic testing. Otherwise, the contractor will not be responsible for any secondary rust formation.
1.3 The owner shall provide temporary facilities for storage of raw materials and analysis laboratories, etc.
1.4 The owner works with a designated person to supervise the system warming process of the cleaning fluid, jointly controlling the rate of temperature increase.
1.5 Temporary water and gas lines for cleaning have been connected to the site.

2. Chemical Cleaning Construction Plan
2.1 Temporary pump stations for chemical cleaning, chemicals and raw materials, analytical monitoring instruments and reagents, standard corrosion test strips, etc., ready for use prior to start-up
2.2 Ensure the quality and quantity of chemical cleaning processes, as well as their chemical analysis and supervision, are completed on time.
2.3 To monitor the cleaning effect of the system and the degree of equipment corrosion, standard corrosion test pieces and monitoring sections (stainless steel and 20G test pieces) equivalent to the equipment material should be suspended in the recirculation tank before the chemical cleaning process.
2.4 Establish temperature, pressure, and analytical sampling points on the temporary system.
2.5 Pay attention to regular high-point venting and low-point draining.
2.6 Skimmed
2.6.1. Purpose of Defatting Cleaning
The purpose of degreasing cleaning is to remove oils and other contaminants, ensuring that the inner walls of the pipeline and the outer surface of the welding joints are free of oil, guaranteeing a clean and tidy pipeline surface.
2.6.2. Fat Removal Cleaning Method
Chemical cleaning of the inner surface of pipes is performed using an online, ambient temperature chemical cleaning system with a circulation method. The pipes are divided into several chemical cleaning systems based on the actual on-site conditions, and connected together to facilitate chemical cleaning through a circulation of cleaning pumps and tanks.
