Beijing Huairou District installs electronic voice broadcasting poles to enhance forest fire prevention awareness.
Huairou District enhances forest fire prevention efforts with the installation of electronic voice public address poles. Upon entering key forest protection areas such as the entrance to Xijiazi Village in Yanxi Town, the Chaoyang Chan Temple in Ganjia峪 Village in Huairou Town, and the road to Jiulongshan Cemetery, visitors will hear a timely reminder from the electronic voice public address poles: "The Beijing Forest Police reminds you that you are now in a Level 1 forest fire prevention zone. Please do not smoke and strictly prohibit all outdoor fires to prevent forest fires. Let's work together to build a beautiful home." This gentle reminder aims to prevent illegal outdoor fire practices like smoking, setting off fireworks, or burning incense and paper, which can easily ignite forest fires. It fosters a good atmosphere where everyone is vigilant about fire prevention, ensuring safety and enjoying the beauty of the forest.
In 2014, Huairou District increased its investment, allocating 160,000 yuan to install 17 electronic voice promotional posts at key scenic spots, intersections near cemeteries, and gullies. To date, a total of 26 electronic voice promotional posts have been installed across the district, adding a brilliant touch to the forest fire prevention campaign.
