Product Category: Thrust Ball Bearings
Product Introduction: Thrust ball bearings consist of a row of steel balls (with retainers), a raceway (tightly fitted to the shaft), and a housing (fitting loosely to the shaft and tightly to the bearing housing bore). The steel balls rotate between the raceway and housing. They can only bear axial loads in one direction and cannot withstand radial loads.
One, Thrust ball bearing composition
1. Harbin Bearing's Thrust Ball Bearings Composition: Thrust ball bearings are composed of the raceway assembly, the housing, and the ball retainer component.
2. The part that fits with the shaft is called a shaft collar, and the part that fits with the housing is called a housing collar.
Section II: Classification of Thrust Ball Bearings:
Single-row Thrust Ball Bearing
2. Double-row Thrust Ball Bearings
Harbin Bearings - Thrust Ball Bearings
Section 3: Features of Thrust Ball Bearings
1. Can only bear axial load in one direction; cannot withstand radial load.
2. Thrust ball bearings cannot restrict the radial movement of the shaft or housing, but can limit the axial movement of the shaft and housing in one direction.
3. During installation, the axis and housing bore axes must be concentric; otherwise, premature bearing failure may occur due to stress concentration.
4. The centerline of the shaft should be perpendicular to the support surface of the housing; the shaft must not be allowed to tilt or bend.
Four: Application of Thrust Ball Bearings:
Harbin Bearings, suitable for automotive use, machine tools, crane hooks, vertical pumps, vertical centrifuges, jacks, low-speed reducers, and more.
V. The Impact of Temperature on the Life of Thrust Ball Bearings
When the working temperature of thrust ball bearings exceeds 120℃, the bearing components will lose their original size stability. Therefore, for bearings operating at temperatures above 120℃, special requirements can be made to HRB Company for the selection of bearings that have undergone special heat treatment.
