Bias bearing corrosion is caused by various intrinsic and extrinsic factors, mainly including: 1. Metal surface finish (differential oxygen concentration battery corrosion). 2. The chemical composition and structure of the metal material itself. 3. The composition and pH value of the solution in contact with the metal surface. 4. Environmental temperature and humidity. 5. Various environmental media in contact with the metal surface. 6. Additionally, human sweat is also a cause of bearing corrosion, with a pH value of 5-6. Therefore, to prevent rust caused by hand sweat, installers and production personnel should wear gloves and avoid touching the bearings with bare hands.

Apply rust-proof oil to prevent eccentric bearing from rusting

1. Immersion Method: Certain small bearings are treated by being soaked in rust-proof oil, where the film thickness can be controlled by adjusting the temperature or viscosity of the rust-proof oil, resulting in the surface adhering to a layer of rust-proof oil.

2. Brush coating: Ensure even application of the paint on the bearing surface, avoiding buildup and preventing any missed spots.

3. Spray Method: Some large anti-corrosion items are not suitable for immersion oiling, so they are typically coated using filtered compressed air at around 0.7 MPa pressure in a clean air environment. The spray method is applicable for solvent-thinned anti-corrosion oil or thin anti-corrosion oil. This method requires comprehensive fire prevention and labor protection measures.

Pre-treatment Method for Rust on Biased Ball Bearings' Surfaces:

Surface Cleaning: Cleaning should be combined with the nature of the bearing surface and the current conditions. Generally, common methods include solvent cleaning, mechanical cleaning, and chemical treatment cleaning.

2. After surface cleaning and drying, use filtered dry compressed air to dry or dry with a desiccator at a temperature of 120~170°C.***Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
