Decay pools, particularly in nuclear medicine, are indispensable equipment. During radioactive diagnoses, a large volume of radioactive waste liquids is produced. The primary function of decay pools is to collect and store these radioactive waste liquids, reducing the radioactivity of the nuclides to levels below the environmental baseline through natural decay and artificial control, and then safely releasing them into the natural environment.
