Disc brakes include hydraulic types, controlled by hydraulic systems, with main components such as brake discs, master cylinders, brake calipers, and oil lines. They have fast heat dissipation, light weight, simple construction, and easy adjustment. Especially under high-load conditions, they exhibit good heat resistance and stable braking performance, and are not affected by mud and water. During winter or in poor road conditions, many cars use flat brake discs, drilled brake discs, and grooved brake discs. Among them, the grooved brake discs offer good braking performance and ventilation heat dissipation.
Disk brakes apply force along the brake disc, without bending moments on the brake shaft, featuring small radial dimensions.
