How to wire the Shanghai Instrument Group's double-bonded explosion-proof Pt00 thermoresistor?

Wire according to the three-wire system!

As shown in the connection: AB is one thermal resistor, CD is another thermal resistor

How to wire a wzp pt100?

Currently, there are mainly three types of wiring methods for resistance thermometers:

Two-wire system: The method of connecting two wires at each end of a resistance thermometer to extract the resistance signal is called the two-wire system. This wiring method is simple, but since there is inevitably a wire resistance r associated with the connection wires, the size of r is related to the material and length of the wire, so this wiring method is only suitable for applications with lower measurement accuracy.

Three-wire system: A method of connecting one lead wire to one end of the resistance element and two lead wires to the other end is called the three-wire system. This method is commonly used with a Wheatstone bridge and helps to minimize the effect of lead wire resistance, making it a standard in industrial process control.

Four-wire system: The method of connecting two wires to each end of the root of a resistance temperature detector (RTD) is called the four-wire system. In this system, two wires supply a constant current I to the RTD, converting R into a voltage signal U, which is then transmitted to the secondary instrument via the other two wires. It can be seen that this wiring method can completely eliminate the influence of wire resistance, and is mainly used for high-precision temperature detection.

PT100 Thermistor Three-Wire Connection Diagrams

Two wires of the three-wire PT100 temperature sensor have zero resistance between them, serving as compensation terminals. Compensation is achieved by measuring equipment adjusting the line resistance. When switching to a two-wire temperature sensor, simply short the two terminals previously connected to the compensation terminals on the device.

How to wire a three-wire thermoresistor?

1. Measure the resistance of three wires with a multimeter; short the two wires with 0 resistance (which actually has a small resistance value, representing the wire resistance to eliminate its impact on the measurement), and connect the third wire to the other end of the measuring instrument.

The gauge should have icons, with one side in white and two red lines representing the two terminal connections on the other side.
