Steel is one of the carbon steels, containing an average of 10% carbon. It boasts excellent plasticity, toughness, elongation, and weldability, making it particularly suitable for die forging parts. The steel has good cold plasticity, and the sheet metal's performance after normalizing or high-temperature tempering is superior to that of annealing. It has excellent welding properties, no temper brittleness, and a slightly higher strength than 08/08F steel. It has good plasticity and toughness, is easy to shape through cold and hot working, but has poor hardenability and quenching properties. The approximate transformation temperature points are Ac1=724°C, Ac3=876°C, Ar3=850°C, and Ar1=682°C. Due to its advantages, it is prone to deformation and is generally used for stamping and riveting materials.
