When an asynchronous AC motor starts under rated voltage, the initial starting current is very high, often exceeding the rated current many times (usually 5 to 7 times). To reduce the starting current and avoid affecting the power grid, it is common to start the AC motor by lowering the voltage. The usual method of voltage reduction is to use an inductor or an auto-transformer. The starting process of the AC motor is short (usually a few seconds to two minutes), and after starting, the inductor or auto-transformer used for voltage reduction is disconnected. This product is designed based on the starting characteristics of high-voltage asynchronous motors and is compatible with motor power ratings of 220 to 1400kW.
Structural Features:
1. The core of the QKSG type dry-type core reactor uses imported silicon steel sheets. The core column is divided into uniform small sections by multiple air gaps, which are insulated with epoxy boards. High-temperature, high-strength adhesive is used to ensure that the air gaps do not change during the operation of the reactor.
2. The core end faces utilize silicon steel sheet end face adhesive, which securely bonds the silicon steel sheets together, significantly reducing operating noise and offering good corrosion resistance.
3. The structure features a coil wrapping design, with the main insulation of the coil made from glass fiber impregnated with epoxy resin. After heat curing, the coil is vacuum-dipped in high-temperature-resistant insulating varnish. This coil boasts excellent insulation properties and high mechanical strength, capable of withstanding the high current surge and thermal shock during motor startup without cracking.

Terms of Use:
1. Altitude not exceeding 1,000 meters.
Operating temperature range: -25℃ to +45℃.
3. Installation in indoor areas without severe vibrations, no harmful gases or dust, and no flammable or explosive materials.
4. After a total startup time of 2 minutes (cumulative of one or multiple starts), the equipment should cool for 6 hours before restarting.
III. Performance Parameters:
1. The dry-type starting reactor is smaller in size compared to traditional oil-immersed reactors and air-core reactors. It features light weight, minimal space requirement, simple structure, and easy installation.
2. Temperature rating reaches H level (180℃); during normal operation, the core temperature rise of the dry-type core reactor does not exceed 85K, and the coil temperature rise does not exceed 95K.
3. The dry-type core starting reactor has lower losses than the oil-immersed reactor. 4. The noise level of the dry-type core starting reactor does not exceed the standard (50dB).
