    KS9-M, KS11 Mining Transformers

    Our company's developed and produced series of full-sealed oil-immersed mining power transformers, including KS9-M and KS11-M models, boast low losses, low noise, and high efficiency. They are used to alter the size of AC voltage and are suitable for mines with explosive hazards such as mixed gases and coal dust. They convert 6KV, 10KV power sources into the low-voltage power required in coal mine shafts at 400 (380), 693 (660), 1200 (1140), and 3450 (3300) V. The transformer housing for mining use features full corrugated design with side and top hinged covers, offering high mechanical strength, low temperature rise, and excellent heat dissipation. The core is made of low-loss silicon steel sheets, resulting in low no-load losses, low no-load current, and low noise. Using H-class insulation materials and advanced insulation structure, they have good thermal stability and can operate continuously at full load under high temperatures. The general-type mining transformer has a robust structure and a low-profile design. There is no oil storage tank on the top of the transformer, and sufficient space is left on the oil surface within the tank to prevent excessive pressure buildup inside the tank when the vent holes on the cover become blocked.

    Installation Location: Used in coal dust-filled mines without explosive hazards, for power and lighting supply. This transformer is oil-immersed. Its internal structure and working principle are the same as those of a standard oil-immersed power transformer. The main difference lies in the casing and the incoming/outgoing line arrangement.

    Used in places with explosive hazards in mines. This transformer is made in dry type, with its input and output lines led out through conduit sleeves.     Structural Features

    All junction surfaces of the box shell are made to explosion-proof specifications, capable of withstanding0.8Internal pressure in megapascals.

    ◆The lid is made of steel plate, with two cable outlet sleeves on the shell. A rubber gasket is placed under the wind-facing sleeve. The cable passes through the rubber gasket, and after the sleeve is tightened, the rubber gasket presses the cable to ensure a seal. The selected cable outer diameter must fit tightly with the rubber gasket to ensure the cable is completely sealed, thereby guaranteeing the isolation performance.

    Inside the housing, there are bolts for grounding, and grounding bolts are also welded to the housing bracket, all of which should be properly grounded.

    The outer shell is welded with a trailer, allowing for easy movement in a horizontal position. It can be stored vertically during transportation or storage to save space.
