Container Gate Crane

Track-type container gantry crane brief description:

RMG, a container crane installed on tracks on both sides, is primarily used for loading, unloading, handling, and stacking of containers at container rail transshipment yards and large container storage and transport facilities.

Components: Consists of the main beam, rigid and flexible gantry legs, trolley, lifting mechanism, trolley running mechanism, electrical system, and control cabin. Depending on the site, container storage and transportation process, and loading/unloading vehicles (container trucks or railway vehicles), different structural forms of no cantilever, single cantilever, and double cantilever are determined.

Features include:

Low acceleration, high running speed for small vehicles.

② The speed of the small vehicle can be determined based on the bridge span and the outward extensions at both ends. When the span and cantilever length are smaller, the speed and productivity requirements for the small vehicle can be relatively lower. When the span is larger and the cantilever length is also greater, the speed of the small vehicle can be correspondingly increased to meet productivity requirements.

③ When the span exceeds 40m, due to the different running resistance of the side legs, the trolley may deviate during high-speed operation. Therefore, a synchronous device is set up to maintain the synchronous operation of the running mechanisms on both sides through an electrical control system, ensuring stable operation.
