This reversing circuit is controlled solely by the reversing valve. During the reversing process, when the pilot valve is in the left position, the new waste paper baling machine controls the pressure oil in the control oil circuit to flow through a one-way valve and throttle valve into the right chamber of the reversing valve. The oil in the left chamber of the valve flows into the oil tank through an overflow valve. The valve core moves to the left, gradually closing the valve orifice with its braking cone surface, and sealing the passage after a certain distance of core movement, stopping the piston's movement. Once the throttle valve's opening size is set, the time required for the reversing valve core to move a certain distance (i.e., the time the piston experiences) remains constant. Therefore, this braking method is known as time-controlled braking and is mostly used in large-scale waste paper baling machines.
