Stainless Steel Valve StemGenerally used materials include 2Cr13, 3Cr13, 1Cr17Ni2, 1Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti, etc. 2Cr13 and 3Cr13 stainless steel is suitable for water, steam, and weakly corrosive media at a nominal pressure of 32MPa and a temperature of 450°C, with options for chrome plating and high-frequency quenching for surface hardening. 1Cr17Ni2 stainless steel valves and low-temperature valves can resist corrosive media. 1Cr18Ni9Ti and 1Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti stainless steel and acid-resistant steel are used for high-temperature valves with a nominal pressure of ≤6.4MPa and temperature of ≤600°C, as well as for stainless steel and low-temperature valves at temperatures of ≤-100°C. 1Cr18Ni9Ti can withstand corrosive media like nitric acid; 1Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti can resist corrosive media like acetic acid. For high-temperature valves using 1Cr18Ni9Ti and 1Cr18Ni12Mo2Ti, nitriding treatment can be applied to enhance wear resistance.
