The HCR type series electric heating tape is a new type of electric heat tracing product. Its major feature, compared to other types, is its longer usable length. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for long-distance pipelines in the oil, chemical, power, and port industries, as well as for large tank pools and oil tanks for frost prevention, insulation, and heat tracing. When combined with other explosion-proof accessories, it can be used in Class II explosion-proof gas environments.

4. Operating Principle
According to Joule's Law, as current flows through a conductor, it continuously releases energy, forming a continuous, uniformly heated electrical heating tape.
5. Structural Form
The Type A structure consists of three independent electric heating tapes, each with the same power and length, combined together.
The B-type structure consists of three electric heating bands connected in parallel, each insulated from the others.
The HCR type series electric heater's insulation sheath and outer insulation sheath are both F46 or F4. The heating core wire is a special heating element wire, with a screen reinforced by copper braiding, an outer sheath, an inner insulation sheath, and a heating core.
6. Installation Instructions
(1) Do not drag the electric heating tape on the ground when installing it.
(2) When installing electric heating cables, sharp edges must be filed down or lined with aluminum tape to prevent the insulation layer from being scratched.
(3) When installing electric heating tapes, the smaller bending radius should not be less than five times the thickness.
(4) Install the electric heating tape using aluminum tape for both increasing the heat dissipation surface and facilitating heat conduction, as well as for ease of installation. After laying, fix it radially with adhesive tape every 50-80 cm.
(5) Serial electric heating tapes are generally designed according to the actual length of the pipeline. Therefore, they must be installed strictly to the design length; both over-length and under-length installations affect the power output, and thus any arbitrary cutting is not permitted.
(6) During the installation of the stranded electric heating tape, connect it in a Y configuration. To avoid tri-phase current error, grounding at the end is necessary.
(7) The electric heating control cabinet is equipped with overload, short-circuit, leakage protection, and temperature control devices to ensure the quality of use.
(8) For electric heating cables buried underground or in areas with corrosive gases, reinforced cables should be used.
