

MI Mineral Insulating Heating Cable Overview:
This cable is composed of a metal core (heating element), tightly surrounded by mineral magnesium oxide (insulation), and a metal tube that has been drawn multiple times (commonly copper, steel, or stainless steel).
Due to the aforementioned structure, the product exhibits the following characteristics:
① Made entirely of non-combustible inorganic substances, these mineral insulated heating cables are fire-resistant, flame-retardant, and do not emit toxic gases. With reliable metal tube sealing and good grounding, they are particularly suitable for various explosion-proof environments.
② Due to the magnesium oxide insulation material's stability at temperatures exceeding 2000 degrees Celsius, the cable's operating temperature limit is determined by the maximum allowable temperature the core and metallic sheath can withstand.
③ The insulation of the product is magnesium oxide, an inorganic substance. Both the core and the outer sheath are made of metal, which fundamentally resolves the aging issue, significantly extending the cable's service life. Under specified conditions, its service life can reach several decades.
④ The product features different outer tubes that can withstand the erosion of oils, solvents, and most acids, offering excellent chemical stability.
⑤ Excellent mechanical properties, thanks to its sturdy structure, capable of withstanding twisting, compression, bending, pulling, friction, and general heavy handling.
⑥ Due to the cable's heating method being a series resistive heating element, the heat distribution is even, resulting in a small temperature difference along the entire length.
High heating power, typically over 30-60W/m, this cable does not pose the risk of freezing like steam heating pipelines when steam supply is halted. Simply turn on the power when needed and no frequent maintenance is required.
⑧ Cold-resistant; does not become brittle and break under low temperatures, easy for winter construction and maintenance.
