Belt filter machines must follow a specific procedure during startup and shutdown to effectively enhance maintenance and extend the lifespan of the belt filter. The main operational process is as follows:
1. Power-On: Before starting the press filter, check that all components and associated water, electricity, and gas are functioning properly. Only then should you proceed to power on.
① Start the air compressor and adjust the air pressure according to the tightness of the filter belt.
② Start the main engine to operate the filter belt at a certain speed.
③ Turn on the sludge pump to discharge sludge from the sludge thickening pond at a certain flow rate into the dosing tank, while simultaneously activating the dosing pump to add chemicals in a precise quantity.
④ Open the upper and lower filter belt and the dehydration cage spray ball valve, start the spray pump, and use high-pressure water to rinse and clean the upper and lower filter belts during the main machine's mud pressing process.
2. Shutdown: Once the press filter has completed its operation, shut down the machine following the described procedures and clean the entire unit.
Shut down the sludge pump and dosing pump, halting the addition of sludge and chemicals.
Turn off the medication mixing motor and the dewatering cage motor.
③ Open the ball valve at the bottom of the dosing mixer drum, and drain the remaining sludge from the drum onto the filter belt.
After all sludge on the filter belt has been fully pressed, the filter belt and dewatering mixer must be thoroughly cleaned.
After the filtrate belt and dewatering cage have been cleaned, shut off the spray pump, main unit, and dewatering cage motor.
Turn off the air compressor and cease gas supply.
Utilize high-pressure water hoses to manually clean any residual mud and other sticky deposits from all water collection trays, ensuring the entire unit remains clean and tidy. Be cautious to prevent water splashes from reaching the motor and electrical box during cleaning.
