Simultaneous thermal analysis integrates thermogravimetric analysis (TG) with differential thermal analysis (DTA) or differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), allowing for the simultaneous acquisition of thermogravimetric and differential thermal data from the same sample in a single measurement.
Compared to individual TG and/or DSC tests, it offers the following significant advantages:
1. One measurement provides both quality change and thermal effect information, offering convenience, time-saving, and is particularly beneficial for expensive or difficult-to-obtain samples, as it requires less material.
2. Eliminate factors such as weight, sample uniformity, heating rate consistency, atmosphere pressure, and flow differences, resulting in a better correspondence between the TG and DTA/DSC curves.
3. Determining whether a thermal effect corresponds to a mass change aids in identifying the corresponding physical and chemical process (such as distinguishing melting peaks, crystallization peaks, phase transition peaks, decomposition peaks, and oxidation peaks, etc.).
4. Real-time tracking of sample quality changes with temperature/time, allowing the use of the current actual sample mass (instead of the original mass before measurement) when calculating enthalpy, which facilitates accurate calculation of phase transition heat, reaction heat, etc.
Product Features
1. The furnace heating utilizes double-row winding of precious metal nickel-chromium alloy wire, reducing interference and offering better resistance to high temperatures.
2. Tray sensor, precision-engineered from noble metal nickel-chromium alloy, boasts high-temperature resistance, anti-oxidation, and corrosion resistance.
3. Power supply, separate cooling circuit and main unit to minimize the impact of heat and vibration on the micro-thermometer balance.
4. Features an open-top design for easy operation. It's challenging to lift the furnace body to place samples, which may easily damage the sample rod.
5. The main unit employs a water-based constant-temperature device to isolate the heat influence from the heating furnace on the housing and the micro-thermometer balance.
6. Equipped with a 32-bit ARM processor with a Cortex-M3 core, offering faster sampling and processing speeds.
7. 24-bit four-channel sampling AD collects DSC signals, TG signals, and temperature T signals.
8. The furnace body can be replaced according to customer requirements.
