Thermogravimetric analysis (TG, TGA) involves observing the change in sample mass with temperature or time during heating, isothermal, or cooling processes, with the aim of studying the thermal stability and composition of materials. It is widely used in research and development, process optimization, and quality control in various fields such as plastics, rubber, coatings, pharmaceuticals, catalysts, inorganic materials, metal materials, and composite materials.
The primary characteristics of thermal gravimetric analysis are its strong quantitative nature and its ability to accurately measure the change in mass and the rate of change of a substance. Based on this feature, it can be said that any mass change that occurs in a substance upon heating can be studied using thermal gravimetric analysis. Thermal gravimetric analysis can be used to detect both physical and chemical changes and processes. It is evident that these physical and chemical changes involve mass changes, such as sublimation, vaporization, adsorption, desorption, absorption, and gas-solid reactions.
Product Features
1. The furnace heating is achieved with a double row winding of precious metal nickel-chromium alloy wire, reducing interference and offering greater resistance to high temperatures.
2. Tray sensor, crafted from high-quality noble metal nickel-chromium alloy, boasts features such as high-temperature resistance, anti-oxidation, and corrosion resistance.
3. Power supply, cooling circuit, and main unit are separated to minimize the impact of heat and vibration on the micro-thermal balance.
4. The top-opening lid structure is user-friendly. It's difficult to lift the furnace body to place samples, which may easily damage the sample rod.
5. The main unit features a water-based constant-temperature device to isolate the heat impact from the heating furnace on the cabinet and micro-thermo balance.
6. Features a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor core, offering faster sampling and processing speeds.
7. The 24-bit four-channel ADC collects DSC signals, TG signals, and temperature T signals.
