The filtration unit of the intelligent squeezing filter press consists of multiple filter chambers, each made up of alternating membrane filter plates and box filter plates, with filtration medium sandwiched in between. The volume of each chamber can be adjusted within a certain range. During operation, the feed pump presses the slurry into the filter chamber, creating fluid pressure. The filtrate passes through the filter cloth and flows along the guiding gaps between the filter plates to the edge channels, where it is collected and discharged. Solid particles are retained on the filter cloth to form a filter cake until the chamber is full, signaling the end of filtration. Post-filtration, the squeezing medium (water or gas) enters the diaphragm cavity through the squeezing channel and builds pressure to squeeze out the remaining liquid from the filter cake through the guiding gaps to the edge channels. Subsequently, high-pressure air is introduced to one side of the filter cake, where, under pressure, the air flows through the filter cake and carries away the remaining liquid. The filter plates are then fully opened to remove the filter cake, clean the filter cloth, re-tighten the filter plates, and initiate the next working cycle.
