Glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP) purlins are made from FRP material and represent an innovative material for corrosion-resistant construction in recent years. Primarily used as purlins, they are employed in steel structures for large-span industrial buildings, such as factory sheds, which require rapid construction. They are a crucial component in steel construction. Some steel structure buildings will experience rusting and decay due to factors such as cost control and internal/external chemical corrosion. This is particularly true for industries like casting, fertilizers, ceramics, smelting, steelmaking, and pulp and paper production, where the issue of building corrosion is more severe. Glass fiber reinforced roof purlins exhibit exceptional corrosion resistance, several times that of ordinary purlins. Glass fiber reinforced composite purlins have excellent resilience. After bearing a continuous load of 620 Kg for 10 hours, the profiles return to their original shape, making them suitable materials for earthquake and typhoon resistance. Glass fiber roof purlins are widely used in various aspects of steel structure projects, such as roof and wall beams, particularly in coastal areas and corrosive chemical factory buildings and workshops. Glass fiber reinforced laths: boasts excellent corrosion resistance, capable of withstanding corrosion from various liquid mediums such as acids, alkalis, organic solvents, and salts, and does not rust. Glass Fiber Reinforced Ply (GFRP) Rafters: Made with a special composite material by pull-winding, these rafters are lighter than steel, reducing the overall load on the roof. They possess strong longitudinal strength, are easy to install, and exhibit excellent resilience, making them ideal for earthquake and typhoon resistance. Glass Fiber Reinforced Ply (GFRP) Rafters Anti-Aging: Due to the use of materials such as unsaturated polyester resin and alkali-free glass fiber mat, the normal service life of the product is significantly extended. Fiberglass lintels are easy to maintain with excellent insulating properties: the product does not fade, rust, or require painting during use; due to its fiberglass composition, it offers superior electrical insulation, is non-magnetic, and emits no sparks, making it suitable for areas with conductive hazards and magnetic sensitivity, as well as flammable and explosive environments.
