Hubei Kangshang Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. commonly encounters issues during foundation treatment:
(1) Compaction Energy Control. Due to the regional convergence of construction activities, impact machinery and components are frequently rotated among various job sites. The use of compaction equipment is prone to long-term wear and quality degradation, while also simplifying the misuse of compaction equipment. Moreover, occurrences of incorrect drop distances are common during construction, which can affect the compaction hammer's impact ability. Therefore, it is necessary to inspect the quality and drop distance of the compaction hammer before operation to ensure it meets the planned requirements.
(2) Compilation and approval of the construction plan. Due to the experimental advancement of the strong impact work in the local area, the understanding of the construction skills management personnel is constrained, and it is impossible to avoid comprehensive consideration. The supervisor must carefully inspect the construction plan. For instance, during the review of the project plan, the supervisor found that the construction team did not consider the potential negative impacts that might arise from the adjacent North Ring Road. Therefore, the construction team adopted measures such as setting up vibration-reducing ditches (1M wide, 1M deep) and installing safety fences on the street side (to prevent flying stones and slurry damage). Additionally, the purpose is to ensure safety during the construction period and minimize the impact on surrounding buildings.
(3) Error in Compaction Point Staking. It is common for errors to occur during the staking of compaction points. During supervision and monitoring, personnel are prompted to review the staking of each compaction point according to standards. After the compaction points are completed, check their positions, and if any errors or leaks are found, they should be corrected promptly.
(4) "Rubber clay" management. During construction, rubber clay was encountered in some areas due to the influence of the region's combined precipitation, resulting in a high water content in the surface soil of the foundation. The treatment method involves excavating some of the rubber clay and backfilling with a mixture of large stones from the nearby site leveling project, starting the construction process from the outset.
