PAI: Polyamide-imide, TORLON
PAI boards offer excellent heat and low-temperature resistance. In high-temperature environments, they maintain superior mechanical properties and dimensional stability. They allow for very high operating temperatures in the air, exhibit good dimensional stability within a 250℃ temperature range, and possess outstanding wear and friction resistance, as well as exceptional UV resistance and superior resistance to high-energy radiation. They are inherently flame-retardant. They feature high strength, high insulation, radiation resistance, corrosion resistance, self-lubrication, and a low coefficient of thermal expansion.
For the manufacturing of precision parts for high-tech equipment, and in applications with extreme wear resistance requirements, such as unlubricated bearings, seals, bearing separators, and reciprocating compressor components, in the electronics and semiconductor industries. Products designed for operation under high temperatures, high vacuums, intense radiation, and ultra-low temperatures, including molded parts for aircraft components, reciprocating compressor impellers, bearing separators, and components of jet engine fuel supply systems; chipsets and sockets, cup-shaped welding supports; for the production of precision parts, such as in the electronics and semiconductor industries, oil drilling equipment, etc.
