Preventive Measures for Silo Vibrator Use:

Due to the vibration force from the anti-blocking device being transmitted to the storage bin (hopper, silo, chute, etc.), it causes the bin walls to vibrate. In turn, the anti-blocking device also vibrates with the bin walls. Consequently, the base bolts of the vibration anti-blocking device often become loose, which is a primary reason for its burnout. This is due to the unique structure of the bin wall vibrator, with eccentric blocks at both ends generating an excitation force that impacts the base bolts approximately 3,000 times per minute. Moreover, the bin wall vibrator itself vibrates, making the base bolts highly susceptible to loosening. Once a bolt becomes loose, it can lead to the loosening or even breaking of other bolts in a short period, ultimately causing the burnout of the vibration anti-blocking device.


Precautions for using silo wall vibrators:

① Regularly inspect the base bolts; if any looseness is detected, immediately reinforce them.

② Add anti-loosening device.

Ensure that the base surface of the vibration prevention blockage device makes good contact with the installation surface, distributing the force evenly across several base bolts.

④ In terms of selection, we strive to use integrated base and housing anti-blockage devices (such as the XJF series vibration anti-blockage device). Since the base surface is formed in a single process, it ensures a level base surface. Conversely, with a separate base and housing, the base surface is produced in stages and assembled later. The vibration motor, due to assembly errors, is not easily guaranteed to have a level base surface. This results in uneven force distribution on the base bolts, and bolts subjected to greater force are prone to loosening, leading to the loosening and breaking of other bolts and potentially destroying the vibration anti-blockage device. These preventive measures and methods can help us protect the vibration anti-blockage device to some extent, reduce the time spent on this aspect, and thereby improve work efficiency.
