High-temperature thermal oil is suitable as a carrier for coal, gas, and oil-fired heating furnaces. When used with electrically heated reactors and other heating equipment, it should be equipped with expansion tanks, oil storage tanks, and other components, as well as temperature control instruments for stable operation.
What are the quality requirements for thermal oil heaters?
The thermal oil furnace's welding work is performed by welders holding a valid boiler pressure vessel welder examination certificate.
Welded dimensions comply with design drawings and process specifications, with weld heights not less than the base material, transitioning smoothly with the base material.
3. The welds and heat-affected zones of the thermal oil furnace are free of cracks, blow holes, arc pits, and slag inclusions.
The pipe weld bead shall not exceed 0.5mm in undercut, with a total length (sum of both sides) not exceeding one-fourth of the circumference of the pipe, and not more than 40mm.
5. The construction of the thermal oil furnace strictly adheres to the welding operation procedures and other relevant standards and regulations, and ensures proper construction and welding records for record-keeping.
