The Yongfeng brand is a product of Beijing erguotou Distillery Co., Ltd. Beijing Erkuang Distillery Co., Ltd. was established in August 2002, originating from the restructuring of the state-owned Beijing Daxing Distillery in October 1949. According to "The History of Beijing," the Daxing Distillery boasts an illustrious history of over 800 years, dating back to the year 1163 during the Jin Dynasty when Emperor Xizong decreed that the Daxing minor official should recruit wine households to brew fine wine. The "Jinlan Wine" produced by the distillery at that time was rich in taste, crisp, sweet, and fragrant, exclusively enjoyed by the elite of the Jin Dynasty. It was a source of pride to drink it, as evidenced by a poem praising it: "Jinlan Wine, like the bright moon, flows into the window, ice platform to avoid the heat, jade ship pressed. Against the cold, the jade bowl is raised. Seeking joy, we hold candles and roam, hands passing the cup as the sun rises high." The poem depicts the scene of nobles and officials enjoying the wine all night. In the year 1322 during the reign of Emperor Yingzong of the Yuan Dynasty, there were a hundred distilleries in Daxi, producing "Arali Wine" (i.e., Baijiu) and millet yellow wine. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was a royal forbidden garden, where the Emperor would hunt and distribute rewards. There was a distillery named "Yu Xing Burn Pot" that exclusively brewed imperial wine for the palace. After the Beijing Tongrentang pharmacy opened, it was stipulated that only this wine could be used in medicine. Many local elders used to deliver wine to Tongrentang on donkey carts before liberation. In September 1949, the "Yi Quan Yong" distillery of the North China Field Army moved here, and the "Yu Xing Burn Pot" became state-owned, later renamed the state-owned Beijing Daxing Distillery (the predecessor of today's Beijing Erkuang Distillery Co., Ltd.).
Today's Beijing Erkuangji Wine Co., Ltd., carries on the traditional brewing techniques of Old Beijing's Erkuangji, using sorghum as raw material, bran as the saccharification and fermentation agent, and employing the ancient five-tray fermentation method, mixed distillation and brewing, observing the flowers to collect the wine, and removing the head and tail. It is aged for a long time and meticulously blended. The wine has clear transparency, rich body, soft sweetness, a clean finish, and a lingering aftertaste, earning its reputation nationwide. The company presents itself with a new look on the southern ground of Beijing, realizing the long-cherished dream of generations who have strived for "brewing wine that represents all four seasons, welcoming guests from all directions, connecting roads to the five lakes and seas, and gaining fame from the four corners of the world."

We offer over 120 products in the series including Jing Wangzi Wine, Zui Liuxia Wine, and Er Kou Tou, among others. Our products have won numerous awards, including the "Yongfeng Brand" trademark being recognized as a Beijing New Product Award in 2000, 2004, and September 2003 for Yongfeng Er Kou Tou and Jing Wangzi Wine. In October 2004, it was awarded the "China Baijiu Quality Product" title. In November 2004, it was granted the "Quality, Credit, and Service" title in the capital market. In November 2006, it was named "China Historical and Cultural Famous Wine" by the China Poetry and Wine Culture Association and the Wine Culture Professional Committee. In December 2007, it was rated as an "AAA" credit enterprise in the enterprise credit status evaluation organized by the China Wine Industry Association. The same year, it was honored as a "China Quality and Reliability Famous Brand."
To enhance technical development and independent innovation capabilities, establish an innovation system, promote product structure adjustment and industrial upgrading, and strengthen market competitiveness, while maintaining economic benefits and sustainable development, the company has established a R&D and testing center based on an integrated industry, education, and research approach.
