Rebar couplings are categorized into: straight thread couplings, reducing couplings, left and right thread couplings, Grade 4 steel couplings, upsetting couplings, welded couplings, cold extrusion couplings, threaded steel couplings, etc. Rebar couplings are also known as straight thread rebar connectors or rebar adapters. The specifications of straight thread rebar couplings are φ12, φ14, φ16, φ18, φ20, φ22, φ25, φ28, φ32, φ36, φ40. Common specifications are φ16-φ32 straight thread couplings, Grade 4 steel couplings, and upsetting couplings, which are distinguished by steel stamps on the outer surface. The outer diameter and length vary, with the inner threads being right-hand threads.
