Heavy-duty welded steel grating refers to a type of grating with reinforcing bars used as cross bars, suitable for single-direction loading applications.

Heavy-duty press-locked steel grating refers to the type with flat steel bars, suitable for bidirectional loading. However, it is significantly more expensive than welded steel grating, and generally, it is not recommended for use.
