Binzhou green stone, due to its infinite variability in properties such as water absorption, density, and hardness, appears hard and durable. In reality, the pores of the stone are akin to human skin. They breathe in air, dust, and microorganisms, and can also be corroded and weathered. With the development of modern industry and the worsening global environment, the corrosion and pollution of the stone are exacerbated, leading to stubborn problems such as water stains that don't dry, efflorescence (i.e., alkali bloom), yellowing, and rust spots, which accelerate the deterioration of the stone.
